A gridle of pearls, ending in a long end in front, ornamented the gown, and her full Court train, also of ivory chiffon and mounted on white net, was scalloped with a triple row of pearls and ornamented at the foot with a tru-lover's knot of orange blossoms. Her veil of Brussels net was caught to her hair by a triple bandeau of pearls, with orange blossoms at the side, and she carried a bouquet of lilies of the valley, tied with silver-tissue ribbons" (The Morning Post, 28 October 1927, p 7d).

(The bridesmaids) The bridesmaids gowns: "...simple, but effective picture frocks of apricot-coloured chiffon velvet, and small Juliet caps of écru lace, outlined with pearls... The elder maids' bouquets were of Ophelia roses and lilies of the valley, and each of the children carried a basket of the same flowers. Their gifts from the bridegroom were aquamarine and pearl hoop brooches". (The Morning Post, 28 October 1927, p 7d).
