1 "...picture frock of ivory chiffon, fashioned with a tight-fitting bodice and long, flowing sleeves, scalloped with pearls to match similar embroidery on the ankle-lenght, gathered skirt. A gridle of pearls, ending in a long end in front, ornamented the gown, and her full Court train, also of ivory chiffon and mounted on white net, was scalloped with a triple row of pearls and ornamented at the foot with a tru-lover's knot of orange blossoms. Her veil of Brussels net was caught to her hair by a triple bandeau of pearls, with orange blossoms at the side, and she carried a bouquet of lilies of the valley, tied with silver-tissue ribbons" (The Morning Post, 28 October 1927, p 7d).
