"Picturesque gown of rich ivory satin duchesse with delicate embroideries in varied tones of blue, clustered with aquamarine jewelling. Manteau de cour of cloth of silver embossed with graceful lines of trailing laurel leaves, entirely bordered with silver Venetian lace, lined velour de Lyon in pastel aquamarine. Ornaments: Famous Scotch pearls, tiara of pearls and diamonds, and corsage ornament of aquamarines and diamonds" (The Morning Post, 9 May 1928, p 7a).
