He was Mayor of Valparaiso; Chief commander of the Naval station in Talcahuano; Chief of the Naval Commission in London; Navy Attaché in the Italian Embassy and Technical Assessor; part of the Chilean delegation to the League of Nations. Decorations: Knight Commander of the Order of San Mauricio and San Lazaro, Italy; Knight Commander of the British Empire; obtained the medal for 30 years of service to the Navy...
