Costume: Court Dress: "...eau de nil taffetas brocade veined 'à jour' over white satin, eau de nil chiffon, old needlepoint lace, embroidery of pearls and brilliants, accordioned chiffon flounces, train in bands of brocade and chiffon, with needlepoint lace and appleblossom" (see: The Gentlewoman, 24 May 1902, p 752c).
