Biog: 4th daughter of Capt. Edward Algermon Blackett, of Wylam, Northumberland and King's County, Ireland; m. (1901) Sir Alfred (Louis) Bower, 1st & last Bt., Lord Mayor of London (1924-25).

Date: 21 May 1925.

Occasion: The Court, 21 May 1925: presented by Mrs. Stanley Baldwin, and herself presented her daughter, Miss Mona Bower and Miss Florence Rideal.

Location: The Lafayette Studio, 179 New Bond Street, London, W.

Descr: FL standing.

Costume: Court dress: "A gown of blue and silver hand-woven brocade embroidered with diamanté, and adorned with tassels of silver and shaded blue crystals. A train of nattier blue Lyons velvet lined with cloth of silver" (see: The Times, 22 May 1925, p 11b).
