Additional Information: This partially painted image is based on an earlier Lafayette photograph of King George V, as Duke of York, in naval captain's uniform taken in 1897, [see neg no (D) (00410)], with the marks of rank on the uniform altered and coronation robes etc. painted in.

1. The level of accuracy varies from a good copy of the Royal Victorian chain to a poor representation of the Garter star.
