(Lady Every) "A gown of brown and silver lace over silver tissue shot with amber, the lace heavily encrusted with bronze beads and finished at the waist by a topaz ornament. A train of brown net lined with amber and lace"

(Miss Every) "A gown of white and pale green tulle, embroidered with diamanté and crystal beads. A train of silver embroidered on white tulle" (see: The Times, 27 June 1929, p 21c).
