Biog: Daughter of James Short McMaster, of Mitcham, Surrey; m. (1885) Sir Jeremiah Colman, 1st Bt. (cr. 1907). Date: 21 February 1908. Occasion: The Court, 20 February 1908: presented by Mrs. R.K. Causton. Location: The Lafayette Studio, 179 New Bond Street, London, W. Descr: FL standing. ("A Court dress of ficelle silvered net over mauve soleil pleated chiffon, beautifully embroidered with clusters of white chenille and paste guelder roses spraying from handsome border of mauve and silver leaves, outlined with pale green appliqués, the corsage embroidered to correspond and trimmed with Brussels lace and mauve chiffon. Empire train of mauve shaded crepe meteor, trimmed with Brussels lace flouncing, cought up with trails of guelder roses and mauve tissue bows, lined with the same mauve tissue" (see: The Court Journal, 22 February 1908, p 305).
