"... a simple dress... of white crepe coppellin, on which an effective design of roses was worked out in gold thread, having at one side a large dragon fly motif in pearls and diamonds, with a suffusion of rose in the wings. A coronet-shaped wreath of orange buds and flowers held a long tulle veil which formed the train, and a Godyear sheaf of pink roses and white heather was carried."
